Problem No. 1:

All businesses want to grow, but to grow they need
more customers.

Obviously this is where the web comes in, though
typically this is not an easy process for proprietors of small to medium
businesses to achieve.

They get sold on a new pretty website. Have a
launch party and sit back to find there isn't really any new business or even
visitors to their websites.

They then learn they need to start getting traffic
to their sites. So... they go down the path of finding Adwords companies or SEO
companies. This also can leave them with a bitter taste in their mouths, trying
to find the genuine companies from the less than reputable companies which
abound in these service areas.

Problem No. 2:

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of having
1000's and 1000's of people become members of my different SEO membership
programs. Overseeing these members over the years has given me a great insight
into different people online and why some perform better than others with the
same tools.

Many people become very successful online using my
many tools, though sadly others haven't.

What I've observed is that the main reason some
people didn't make great money online, was that their websites were just plain
not suited to selling products . The pages were way too busy, with way too many
links to distract prospective customers. While these members had no problems

customers for their business, and online marketers not being able to convert

After years of contemplating these issues, and now

from 20 million to only 183k)

Then...

By adding the Geo Location being “Gold Coast” we
have brought down the competition from 183k to only 23k)

Finally...

(putting the local keyword phrase in quotes, shows
how easy it will be to target this keyword phrase in Google.com.au.)

So as you can see, when targeting region “Australia” and Local Geo location
“Gold Coast” the competition in Google.com.au reduces dramatically, enabling
even those with little SEO skills to rank for these terms very quickly.

Ahh... but I hear you say, there isn't much search
volume or none for bad credit loans gold coast?

There is traffic: but
the beauty of this traffic is that it is absolutely targeted traffic, and
opt-ins gained from sites that rank for these terms are of significant value
to any business in the market of Bad Credit Loans.

But here's where the real genius of this system shines through:

Once you have a site up that ranks for Bad Credit
Loans Gold Coast, then its very simple to also rank formidably for:

Bad Credit Loans Newcastle

Bad Credit Loans Gosford

Bad Credit Loans Darwin

Bad Credit Loans etc, etc, etc.

...by the HUNDREDS!

In this example, I would create a .com.au domain
with the term “bad credit loans” in the Top level domain and then create folders
or directories each named by a town suburb etc, each time I promote one of these
directories in the search engines by providing backlinks to it, the overall
domain gains authority in the search engines and it gets easier each and every
time I add a new directory to it to rank for these terms. Over time by adding
100's of these geo related directories, this domain will be getting enormous
amounts of targeted traffic.

All of these sites providing very targeted leads
to the small business Owners in this market. And they will pay you very nicely
for them- More about how they pay you a bit later.

So we have created a system that enables people to
create sites with one sole focus and easy to rank for in the search engines.
Site publishers can create as many sites as they like in our system, the more
sites they make the more money they earn.

Once a site publisher has created a site and it is
ranking and collecting leads, he adds it to our
www.Leadsjet.com system, which then
provides him or her with a “widget”- this widget is placed on his website to
collect the leads.

Once the site is added, small businesses can then
bid on the leads provided via this website.

Leadsjet.info utilises our own proprietary bidding
system using Paypal. Small businesses compete with each other via bidding to
gain these quality leads. The highest bidder will continue to gain these leads
until another business out bids him.

Current winning bidders are informed via email
when they have been out bid and provided the opportunity to raise the bid. So
the businesses in this market determine the value of the leads supplied by the
site publisher.

If there are no businesses in our system related
to the niche the site publisher is currently building sites for, we will be
shortly providing an amazing piece of software we developed over 4 months, to
source businesses related to your niche and geo graphic location. The software
sources these companies from the search engines and then emails them details
about your site and leads being delivered.

Each site added to our system has its own unique
stats page. This stats page provides this information:

Site URL.

Keywords used by the search engines to find
this site.

Traffic per day / month

Leads collected per day / month.

This enables the business to make an informed decision about the site they will
be bidding on for leads.

So site publishers start the software, enter their
site details and niche and geo location, the software goes out collects many
emails (between 200 and 900 depending on niche and location) and starts emailing
the small businesses.

Small business No. 1 clicks on the link provided,
likes the site that they see and bids $x per lead.

Small business No. 2 does the same and out bids
No. 1. Business No. 1 gets an email stating he has been out bid and ups his bid,
meanwhile No. 3 comes along and offers his bid. This continues till this market
determines the value of these leads provided by the Site Publisher.

We use a very simple payment model to distribute
funds between parties. All funds are transacted via Paypal. Here's the schedule:

Site Publisher earns 70%

If an affiliate referred the site publisher, this
affiliate gains 10% of the bid amount.

If an affiliate referred the small business to the
system, they get 10% of the businesses spend on each bid.

10% of each bid goes to LeadsJet.com

It's an amazing system for any internet marketers,
to gain a recurring income on their online efforts.

It's an amazing opportunity for companies around

My Goal was to create a system that bought back
the old days of Adsense, where anyone online could make a significant income
relatively easily. e.g. my mum topped out at $275 per day back then :)

Have I achieved this goal? Well, not exactly 100%-
that would be impossible, though I think we have come as close to it as any
other online company has since then.

I must believe in it, since it cost me the equal
to a small to average size family unit in terms of cost to fund it and find out
:)

The Wide World Of RSS, aka Really Simple Syndication!

Simply put, RSS is a unified method of displaying data
aggregated from the many different ways websites
present data.

Web sites are written in various languages,
such as php, HTML, shtml, asp, perl, etc, etc.

The rss protocol provides a unified way for websites
designed in various codes to provide content that
can be read, understood and presented by many rss readers
and syndication websites, and this is where it comes in
very handy for us to build and share our Trust making
links to the world and to the search engines.

90% of these Web2.0 sites have rss feeds associated
with the accounts you create on them- These rss feeds
contain the content you supply to these accounts,
including your Trust making hyper-links.

But it gets better... If the web 2 sites utilize "no follow"

attribute tags as mentioned previously, these are
Not Present in the RSS feeds. This is the really cool part
right here!

When you submit your Rss feed to one of the many rss feed
aggregators, these Rss aggregators, display the "contents"
of your Rss feed live on their websites as normal web content,
including your links pointing to your website, and links
back to your web 2 website account, giving this web 2
address some nice trust rankings to boot!

"Web2" sites (generally speaking) are social type websites, where people online can exchange data between themselves in different forms of digital media, e.g. Video, audio, podcasts, webcasts, streams, and via different textual methods like PDFs, text, blogging, articles, forums, questions and answers.

The list is never ending, new forms of ways for people to interact online is ever increasing. Some sites do their best to add as many of these features in one big platorm (think Facebook), while others prefer to focus on one model and excel at it (think YouTube).

Sites like these over time end up developing incredible amounts of trust with the search engines, so it makes perfect sense that gaining links from all these sites can leak a lot of that trust relationship to your own website.

understanding niche research

In reply to where a customer is asking about niche results and available automated ranking tools to use, this is my reply.
Using ranking checking tools makes you lazy, the only way to learn about rankings is getting your hands dirty and checking google.com yourself and observing what sites rank high consistently via a broad range of niches. Understanding simple things like this gives you a much clearer ability to understand a terms competitiveness in google and know if you can tackle it or not, and reveals the terms you can dominate much faster. = more income

I do use tools. but prefer one FireFox window open with a tab for each of the terms I'm checking (generally around 15 on the go at one time), which I check 3 times a day.. call it old skool but works nicely for me, gives me a very good understanding of google rankings. After observing the same niche over and over , your mind gets to understand all the domains in these markets and it knows at a glance where they are and their history while im searching. I do this across a very broad range of non related niches, and there are domains that pop up in each. I know how I can rank compared to these domains. better or worse, either way this gives me a good understanding of niches at first glance in google of the first couple of pages.

Do this for a long time and your minds DataBase of sites gets extensive and makes niche research that much easier and faster. and more profitable obviously..

Its a good thing to train your mind to do.. like any muscle just takes a bit of time to train it up..

Ok.. while im here..

If I'm targeting a new niche,

I go to google.com / advanced search/ change to 100 listings per page..

Then I slowly scroll down and see who is in the first 100. if they are TLD's or internal page listings and the % of each.

In simple terms. if the first 100 listings are all listings with internal pages, well its a no brainer, this alone means using my methods I can get a very high if not Number 1 listing in google for this term .

Conversely, if the first 100 were nothing but TLD's (top level domains) with no listings of internal pages, well I'd run a mile from this niche, though I'm yet to find any niche with the first 100 that are TLD's , but this gives you the idea.

Next I'm looking at who these higher ranking domains are in this first 100.. from a glance you can see if these domains are optimised for this term or not.

I'm looking to see if these domains get these rankings from some on page work, e.g words in an article or such, and its got this listing purely due to this domains authority only. Or, If this domain has my term in the title for example and it actively after this term. I can out rank a stronger authority site that is listed highly with only internal none title listing. But I cannot out rank a stronger authority site, that is optimised for this term. So seeing a big name site in the first page of google. its not about this site, but why this site is listed for this term, determines whether I will target this niche.

One example that you would know is the aweber.com site (which holds massive authority in google), I'm currently working a very competitive niche, where this site came in listed at No 51 for the term I am targeting.

This entry into this niche in google by aweber is
1. a TLD only, not internal page listing.
2. Has niche in title tag.

Normally I would not go after this term , though I'm in the process of continually learning like all of us. Currently my site once the title tag updated entered the serps around 150 I think and each week its been moving up the serps. Now sitting on page 2 at 16 (I'm still working this)

I suppose this is more a testament to my backlinking strategies, than about niche research. Though with this example, I was intending on pushing the boundaries to see where we end up. And do this experiment over time.

Ok, i have gotten a little of track here, though the main point being. in terms of niche research, you need to use your eyes, and check competitors for the indicators I have listed above. And use them a lot. To get the full understanding of researching a niche. Typically a quick scan of the first one hundred entries gives me a pretty clear idea about this niche.

I can then use different operators in google to nut down further, though I rarely do this, only if I get really excited about a niche and want to confirm it further..

1. site:domain
revealing how many pages a domain has listed in google. in itself doesn't say much. e.g my sites rank very well with only a handful of pages in the index. Though sometimes this operator can reveal a lot about a site. e.g if it has a million pages in google, this is an indicator of its authority.

2. "my niche"
putting the target keyword phrase in quotes, at a glance gives me a better understanding of how many sites are more targeting this phrase.
e.g in quotes, google reveals the sites with only these words within the quotes beside each other somewhere on this site or page. This can sometimes reveal how easy a niche is, if the returned results are very low.

3. allintitle: my phrase
This returns results of only those sites or pages with your targeted term in the title of this page, this shows the sites actively targeting this phrase.

4.allintitle: "my phrase"
same as above, but with these words in same order. excluding those results where there may be a word in between your phrase words. This further reduces the returned amounts. to give you a better indicator of how many sites are vying for this term.

5. inurl: keyword phrase
show the amount of sites that have this term in the URL of the listed domains in the index.
Having your term in the URL does give you a slight advantage over those that do not, and this operator reveals how many competing sites are using your term in their URL.

These are the ones I use, there are more listed below.
As noted previously, the returned number count for each of these gives me a good idea about the competitiveness of this niche Im checking out, though also keep in mind the authority of those domains listed in these results.

These are the methods Ive gained after doing this for a very long time, I remember back in the day, when all you had to do to get indexed was, go to the search engines "Add URL" field, enter your site and BANG your in there!! Just like that and receiving traffic.. LOL back when all SEO involved your keyword phrases in title , img and within the body tags a bunch of times, and your receiving bucket loads of traffic for your term... I remember my clients looks of astonishment when I showed them their sites listed for the terms they desired, almost instantly back in those days

hope this helps with your understanding of niche reseach, get your hands dirty and do it in google visually, doesn't take long to get a overall view of whats going down in there, once you start to understand, it all gets a lot easier

In this cyber age, it is the person listed in Google.com at
No1 position for the term, "Coolest Guy on the Planet" that
is the real Coolest guy on the planet these days.

Back in 2005 Two smart Internet Marketers were having a
coffee and the conversation turned around to, who is
the coolest marketer online? Which then turned into
The Coolest Guy on the Planet SEO competition. They
left this meeting to see who could get ranked No
1 in Google.com for this term. They then shared this
idea with their friends and customers.

Thus the Coolest Guy on the planet SEO (or Search
Engine Opitmization) Competition was born.

Is there a Prize for becoming No1 in google for this
term? No. Do a lot of people watch for this term

After reading a lot of discussion
threads recently I see a LOT of people
just Don't Get what Twitter really is.

Honestly, it took me a long time to
actually GET it myself :-)

Now I'd like to help you get this amazing
Twitter Phenomenon.

I was speaking the other night on ABC
radio about twitter, during this interview
it occurred to me the parallels between
my 41k twitter followers and this
radio station. Hear me out on this ok :)

The radio DJ has an audience following him
4 nights a week, why do they listen
to this DJ and not another competitor?

Because they like the content he distributes
on his chat show.

He is a late night Queensland local DJ,
and I'm guessing pretty much the same
following amount as I have between
my twitter accounts = 40,000

Realising this, it occurred to me
how important my list of 41k followers
on twitter actually is.

Like the DJ, my follower choose to follow
my twitter account. They stay followers
because the like the content I distribute
via twitter.

An interesting thing happened this Friday.

on both my twitter accounts peteinoz and
peterdrew accounts, my @ replies were going
berserk with people shouting #followfriday
with my account name after it.

All up about 5 or 6 pages of these
#followfriday shouts. ?

Twat the goodness is happening? So I asked
my twitter followers, What is this
#followfriday thing that I'm receiving
on my twitter?

I was very happy to find out that, on
fridays, twitterers send this
#followfriday followed by twitter account
names to their followers. e.g good twitter
accounts to follow, some with explanations.
One guy told his followers about my account
because I Helped him with a GPS recommendation
as an example.

To say I was floored is an understatement.
up to 6 pages of my followers recommending
my account to their followers. Amazingly
I gained about another 1000 twitter followers
during this time.

Another point I would like to raise about twitter
is credibility gained via accounts with a lot
of followers. This is in answer to a statement
made on a forum where a member stated, that
"just because someone has 20,000 followers
that does not mean that this person is an expert
in their field". This may be correct.
Though in my experience, having accounts
with 16k and 26k these do attract a lot of
attention due to their high following counts.
I checked the amount of followers that this
person had = 1700 and in the real world
anyone comparing his account to either of mine
would most likely determine that my accounts
do have more authority and or credibility
than his. Why its obvious, my accounts have
created a lot more buzz and I must have happy
followers or they would not be following me.

To be specific, the relation of followers
to exact expert knowledge is non related.
But, having high amount of followers is
what gets people to follow your account
then its Up to YOU to provide quality
content to prove yourself to these followers
who will not be followers if you provide
the content to gain a loyal following.

Which gets back to my analogy of the similarity
between Twitter and Radio.

Its exactly the same for DJ's They get employed
to fill vacant time slots. then its up
to their radio content to keep and build
their existing customer / listener rate. Exactly
the same as twitter.

So if you'd like to get your voice or views
out there. Currently Twitter is the absolutely
easiest way to gain a loyal following. How many?
Is determined by the method you use to gain
followers and quality of the information you
share with your followers :)

Tips on content to share with people.

1. Just be yourself. Be Real.
2. search for and find relevant information
related to the topic of the account you
setup and post snippets with links to
your blog posts, Like I have done with this
one. (Personally I only share content I think
of myself and do not need to research it)
3. reply to people on your twitter account
with quality answers to their questions. These
answers are often RT'd (retweeted to people on
their own accounts) and gain you more followers.
4. If I find a great short joke. I'll tweet it :)
5. Tweet about what you are doing. but nothing
too boring. only positive or real experiences.

long time no see, its been a very hectic last 6 months for us over here..

So thought my first post back after ages should have some merit.

Ive been using twitter for a bit recently and its been fun, lots of traffic and big following, which continues to blow me away.

Speaking of being blown away, the reason for this post, is the response I got to just one Tweet.

This is it..

These are the replies I got from just one tweet.

I was totally blown away from this response, and must say had some very nice feelings as a result.. So many nice people out there, from all over the world. I originally made this image up to show my wife the responses, she too was blown away.

So what has all this got to do with marketing and WF?

I speak to lots of people about twitter, and a LOT of people just don't get twitter.

Personally I was the same, though persevered, when one of my good Marketing buddies explained how profitable it can be. The one point about 100% deliverablity compared to email really struck a cord with me

Marketing isn't just about work or slaving away obviously, its about having fun aswell.. I experience a lot of fun on twitter, absolutely no doubt about it. and have made some excellent friends via it, that I would never have without it.

Essentially, twitter is about branding yourself. If you represent a product, you can brand the product only and or product and self.. or one self with many accounts branding different products..

If your new to twitter, create an account, get some followers, start off just replying to tweets that interest you.. humour goes a long way on twitter to breaking the ice with other twits out there. You'll soon get the hang of it. Leave it open in its own browser window and update it a few times a day and reply to people.. you'll soon find your tweeting about your own stuff. Do not hammer it with product tweets over and over, you'll loose any cred youve built up pretty fast.

There are a TON of twitter tools and apps out there to help your twitterlife.

Twitter Fan Wiki / Apps (not mine)

There are two simplest forms of traffic from twitter, 1. your url in your profile. 2. By setting up an auto Direct message to each of those that follow you. (see link above for sites that provide these services for free)

ok.. I did get over 100 people take the time to reply to my single tweet about my daughter,

out of over 25,000 followers

(see Twitter / peterdrew + Twitter / peteinoz )

Thats not a massive percentage, though take into account the amount of people who saw that tweet, compared to those who took the time to draft a personal message back to me.

If that was a marketing message, I would have scheduled the same tweet to be posted at different times via my two accounts, covering the many different time zones (search for schedule in the link provided above to do the same) Remember that response was from just one tweet I created after getting home from hospital, most likely if i scheduled that tweet 4 or 5 times over the proceeding 24 hours there would have been 2 to 5 times the result of responses.

So there you go

Twitter isn't just about Internet Marketing or making money, its also about having fun, meeting other like minded people.. posting interesting stuff to share with others, If its real interesting, your message is retweeted all over the joint,

btw.. once you get to as many followers as I have, your twitter acount goes viral pretty easily, (if your content is good) Im averaging between 500 and 1000 new followers per day

2. Find a Product
Once you have selected your best niches

Go to the sales pages of the products
you are choosing between, and choose
the product that has what you believe
is the the best sales page.

On the ClickBank page you need to register
to enable you to get your own affiliate
ID so you can promote any of the products

3. Create a Site.
For the purpose of this exercise, we'll
use a Blogger blog. Why?
Anyone can get one instantly, and they
rank very well plus have an RSS feed.

When you create your blogger blog, you
are asked for the Blog Title, use the niche
you are focusing on , you are also
asked for the Blog URL use your niche
as the sub domain name. e.g.

yourbestnichehere.blogspot.com

If it is already taken, add a word
at the front of end to make it unique.

When you create your blogger
blog, you have the ability to choose
a template, choose one that is most
closely related to the website
you are promoting.

e.g. if the main theme of the
website you are promoting is green,
use a green template.

Now, after reading the product
site, you need to create a
250 word review of this product
based on the sales copy.

This 250 word document will be crafted
so that the consumer will be ready
to order via your affiliate link
placed at the bottom of this review.

Throughout this 250 minimum word count
review, make sure you use terms related
to your main niche throughout this review
this helps get your blog listed higher
in Google.

Make sure your main niche is the title
of this new blog you are creating.
This is especially important SEO wise
and RSS wise, more about that later.

Originally I joined the Coolest Guy on the Planet game, to see what happens after I spend 20 mins creating and linking a site. and the results for the coolest guy on the planet was what I expected, I gained front page listing in a couple of days.

Though the techniques I used to gain this position , e.g spinning existing content about the coolest guy on the planet, drew attention to this blog. Specifically the owner of this content about the coolest guy on the planet contacted me. about his content, and after speaking to him we found it ironic, that rubbish content has then turned this blog into a blog with real content , such as is posted right now.
